NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING
Workers' Compensation - Schedule for Rating Permanent Disabilities

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Acting Administrative Director of the Division of Workers' Compensation (hereinafter "Administrative Director"), exercising the authority vested in her by Labor Code sections 59, 133, 4660, and 5307.3, proposes to adopt regulations contained in Article 7 of Chapter 4.5, Subchapter 1, of Title 8, California Code of Regulations,section 9805, relating to the Schedule for Rating Permanent Disabilities.

PROPOSED REGULATORY ACTION
The Division of Workers' Compensation, proposes to adopt Article 7 of Chapter 4.5, Subchapter 1, of Title 8, California Code of Regulations, section 9805.
Amended section 9805 Schedule for Rating Permanent Disabilities, Adoption, Amendment.

TIME AND PLACE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Public hearings have been scheduled to permit all interested persons the opportunity to present statements or arguments, either orally or in writing, with respect to the subjects noted above.
The hearings will be held at the following time and place:

Date: Monday, July 21, 2008
Time: 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., or until conclusion of business

Date: Tuesday, July 22, 2008
Time: 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., or until conclusion of business
Place: Elihu Harris State Office Building - Auditorium

The state office buildings and their auditoriums are accessible to persons with mobility impairments. The Administrative Director requests, but does not require, that any persons who make oral comments at the hearing also provide a written copy of their comments. Equal weight will be accorded to oral comments and written materials.
