Continuous Trauma CONTINUOUS TRAUMA is a searing legal and psychological suspense drama that's also an expose of corrupt worker's compensation and health care practices that endanger the health and welfare of thousands of Americans every day. It's a story based on actual case histories and on events that could happen to any of us, at any time.
Disability Challenge Winning the Disability Challenge charts a course of action to personal security and self-fulfillment and guides the disabled worker through both the emotional trauma of occupational disability and the complex world of disability rights and resources.

Workers Compensation is not about Truth, Justice, Fairness, Equity or even Honesty! It's about insurance companies who will stoop to any level to minimize their liabilities in their open cases which they will try to close at any cost! In their eyes, injured workers are black holes that suck in their profit dollars!

Attorneys around America who specialize in Workers Compensation have their hands tied by legislation that is bought and paid for with insurance industry money, as insurance companies after all, are the largest manipulators of legislative bodies in the United States.

Did you ever wonder why the claims examiners or defense attorneys never refer to you by your name, instead by your case number? If they did, they would have to admit that you were a human being, and would have to treat you like one.

And they hide behind laws and doctrines that they have paid millions of dollars to get passed that literally tie the hands of the injured worker to get any type of justice, the biggest of all being the doctrine of the "Exclusive Remedy."

We look back at the last 12 years where we have set new standards and goals for the advocacy of America's injured workers. We created the first regularly scheduled television program "Injured On The Job tm" to bring this important issue to the attention of American citizens. We created the one and only Injured Workers Television Network tm. We went to bat for those wrongly accused of fraud when no one else would.

We were always able to get radio coverage on this important subject and certainly managed to involve talk radio audiences on these issues via one of America's premier clear channel radio stations when no one else could.

But sadly this issue is all about money and power. The insurance companies have tons of money and they use it to buy political power. How else could they pass such a bastard bill with the governor's approval in California such as SB863.

Everyone wants things to change, but they aren't willing to do their part to help achieve success. Claimant attorneys who certainly have something on their chests to get off, simply ignore the fact that they have an unusual source of media access. No one wants to get involved. No one wants to participate. I'm just plain tired of beating my head against the wall.

Then there are the insurance company defense attorneys who totally lose fact that there are human beings involved and are more concerned with winning cases than what is morally right and continue with their scorched earth policy of winning as many cases as possible to get more business from the carriers. After all, they are only as good as their last case!

And then there are the phony advocacy organizations that are springing up all over the place. And they are popping up in several states. Screaming and yelling about how unfair this system is, but with no logical avenue or solution to this mess. And then there are the injured at work organizations, who are simply after your money.

It's going to have to be a political solution. Legislation that is bought and paid for by insurance industry money has to be changed or there will be no solution.

Thank you to all those angels who support us. We can't do it without you, and we cannot bear the financial burden of this organization personally any more.

We're going to move on and get involved in video production now that we have our own studio and equipment. Maybe we'll do some injured worker stories and if all goes well, finally do the documentary that we have been planning

If you are interested in helping with this cause and being part of the cure, contact us at "advocacy[at]noiw[dot]org."
