First of all, we're not going to misrepresent ourselves and tell you that we have special influence with state legislators and the governor. We don't, and neither do they, or we would already have meaningful legislation signed into law to help injured workers survive this ordeal known as Workers' Compensation.

Nor are we going to try to get you to believe that the motto "There is power in numbers" was originated by us or created especially for us. That is simply not true either! That cliche has been around for many years and no one really knows who originated it, but many people like to use it because it sounds so good!

And we're not just after your money! Although it does cost us a considerable amount to run this organization and produce the television show, if you can't afford $25.00 to join, we'll simply waive the membership fee. Every little bit helps deliver a message to the insurance companies that it's not "Business As Usual" anymore!

And most of all, we're not going to make promises to you that we know we can't keep, just to get your support. That is just absolutely wrong!

We are an educational organization. We HELP injured workers! We are advocates for the occupationally disabled. We go to bat for those falsely accused of Workers' Compensation fraud by insurance carriers and county district attorneys eager to obtain fraud fighting money from the state Fraud Assessment Commission by any means possible.

Our primary goal is to put an end to the rampant fraud and corruption perpetrated upon America's injured workers by the insurance industry and their legislative friends. To aid and assist those who are genuinely serious about bringing back some legitimacy to America's Workers' Compensation systems, a system that now is controlled by a corrupt and out-of-control insurance industry, that has our legislators pimping and pandering influence in exchange for their political contributions.

To stop the proliferation of insurer and employer fraud. This White Collar fraud is a primary reason that our Workers' Compensation systems are so dysfunctional, with insurance carriers hiding behind the "Exclusive Remedy" provisions of state Labor Codes to shield them from legal liability for their criminal acts, post injury!

Our secondary goal is to aid, assist, educate, inform and empower injured workers around this country to better understand how to navigate thru an ever complicated Workers' Compensation system and not become victims of overzealous insurance carriers and their investigators. One way we accomplish this is through www.noiw.org, a full-featured website, not a glorified blog that others try to pass off. But hey, we have one of those too, located at blog.noiw.org. They are both very important information resources for injured workers!

Who are our members? Our membership consists of injured workers, doctors, treaters, interpreters, private investigators, attorneys, and even a few insurance claims examiners, (the good guys who give injured workers the respect and dignity that they deserve, and are) committed to "protecting the rights and dignity of injured workers" all across America.

Many of these folks are in the trenches attending Workers' Compensation hearings and conferences on a daily basis. They know first-hand the obstacles and troubles facing injured workers. Others are those who want to see a real reform come to America's Workers' Compensation systems, and bring back some form of fairness and equity to this benefits delivery system that is so vital to every state.

This is the 21st century, and injured workers need to use 21st century technology and tactics to get their voice heard by those who can help make the changes that are necessary.

We own and operate our own internet infrastructure and maintain our own servers. We are beholding to no one! Our Information Systems personnel oversee an innovative technologically advanced client/server computer system that enables us to track, report, and use a myriad of complex data on a daily basis. Our Information Systems personnel service the National Organization of Injured Workers and allow us to be able to adapt to change quickly. They are also responsible for all computer and data processing needs and requirements involving a broad range of activities.

We produce the Injured On The Job television program distributed to Community and Public Access television stations around the country. It's goal is to is to aid, assist, educate, inform and empower injured workers around the country to better understand how to navigate thru the Workers' Compensation systems in their state.

We produce Custom Video Programming made specifically for the web and stream it via our servers and You Tube. We also create informational DVD's to educate, inform and empower injured workers and others. We have access to "state of the art" digital video production facilities in San Francisco and Sacramento, California.

We are NOT a political organization. Political organizations are simply about money and power, plain & simple. They want your money and then they have the power, not you! America has too many political organizations as it is. That's part of the problem.

If you're tired of playing footsie with politicians, then you're the person we're looking for. Injured workers need help and they need it now, not in 2 years!

How do I join? That's a very easy task. Simply, click on the "How To Join" button on the navigation bar at the top of the page or go to the "How To Join" page, and fill out the form as best you can. Remember your phone number is very important or we can't reach you.

Help us help injured workers all over America, and bring some fairness and equity back to the Workers' Compensation system.
